Is MATCEDRIC waterproof?

No. MATCEDRIC is a fleece layering piece without waterproof or water-repellent construction. Weather protection must come from the outer garment.

Can the jacket be worn on its own or does it need a layer underneath?

MATCEDRIC can be worn on its own during cool, dry days or over a long-sleeve top. It also works as a mid-layer beneath a waterproof shell when rain arrives.

What does GRS certification mean for this product?

We are GRS certified, Control Union 1018560. Only the products which carry the GRS label and claim are certified. The Global Recycled Standard verifies the percentage of recycled content and tracks it from the source to the final product. Products certified to the Global Recycled Standard (GRS) contain recycled material that has been independently verified at each stage of the supply chain, from the source to the final product. In addition, facilities from the source to final supplier have met social, environmental, and chemical requirements.
