MATWANG – Waterproof and fleece-lined children’s winter jacket
MATWANG is a warm and functional children’s winter jacket, designed to protect against the cold, rain and snow throughout the winter. This popular fleece-lined winter jacket combines a waterproof outer fabric made from recycled polyamide with fully taped seams that prevent water from penetrating – even during prolonged periods of rain. It is designed for active children and the many outdoor adventures of everyday life, from the journey to nursery and school to playing in the playground.
A winter jacket that keeps children warm down to -25°C
The soft fleece lining helps retain body heat, whilst the THERMOLITE® padding provides effective insulation without making the jacket heavy or restricting the child’s freedom of movement. MATWANG has been tested in accordance with ISO 11092:2014 and can keep a child warm for up to eight hours at +7°C and one hour at -10°C whilst at rest. During physical activity, the jacket has been tested for up to eight hours at -8°C and one hour at -25°C. With a breathability rating of 8,000 g/m²/24h, excess heat and moisture are wicked away from the body, allowing the child to maintain a comfortable temperature during active play.
The winter jacket is designed with practical details that make everyday life easier. The concealed, diagonal zip is easy for the child to operate themselves, and the detachable hood with elasticated adjustment offers flexible protection against wind and weather. Snow cuffs with thumb holes keep snow and cold out at the wrists, whilst the adjustable inner waist allows you to customise the fit and make room for extra layers of clothing.
In sizes up to 86 cm (18 months), the jacket features a ribbed neckline to protect against draughts, whilst the larger sizes are designed with a classic collar for easier dressing and undressing. The iconic, reflective MINI A TURE star on the front pocket and the smaller logo on the back increase your child’s visibility in the dark, with visibility of up to 300 metres.
