Raglan sleeves reduce bulk at the shoulder and armpit, which matters when layering beneath a jacket or moving freely during sport. The round neckline sits flat against the skin without adding volume around the collar, and flat seams throughout reduce the friction points that can irritate during extended wear or repeated movement.

The fleece is light rather than heavily insulated, which is what allows it to work as a thermal mid-layer in colder months and a standalone top during milder stretches.
