The 8,000 mm (WP) rating and welded construction protect against rain, whilst the soft recycled-nylon shell with a water-based polyurethane coating balances weather resistance with a gentle feel against the skin. Elastic cuffs at the wrists and ankles, adjustable foot straps and a 70 lux reflective star pocket detail complete a set that suits school runs, outdoor play and changeable days.

Welded seams rather than stitched ones are what allow the set to hold up during sustained rain. Traditional stitching creates tiny holes where water can enter, even when a fabric has a strong waterproof rating, so welding the seams together without thread is what pushes the set from water-resistant into genuinely waterproof for longer outdoor sessions.
