MATEIDIE shorts are a double-layer pair of girls' running shorts with built-in tights, designed to provide coverage and freedom of movement during sport, PE sessions and active playground time. The outer shorts sit over close-fitting inner tights, combining the modesty of longer coverage with the unrestricted leg movement that comes from a stretchy base layer, which matters when a child is sprinting, stretching or changing direction quickly.

Air Supply fabric forms the outer layer, a lightweight recycled polyamide construction that improves ventilation as activity increases. The 23% elastane content in the main material and 22% in the inner tights allows both layers to flex with the body rather than pulling or riding up mid-movement. This double-layer approach addresses a specific need: the outer shorts provide the relaxed silhouette many girls prefer for school sport and casual wear, whilst the inner tights prevent chafing and stay in place during sustained activity.

The elastic waistband sits flat against the body without digging in, and a small back pocket adds practical storage for a locker key or hair tie.
