The three-layer softshell construction combines a recycled polyester outer, a windproof polyurethane membrane and a fleece lining in one fabric, whilst the untaped seams mean the trousers are highly water-repellent rather than waterproof. A 12,000 mm (WP) water column and fluorine-free Bionic Finish Eco treatment bead light rain off the surface, and 8,000 g/m²/24h breathability helps manage heat during active play.
